The Message of the Cross - THE WAY
The Finished Works of our Lord Jesus Christ and Him Crucified
We preach and teach the anointed message of The Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ which is God reconciling sinners to Himself in Christ. The Gospel of our Salvation is The Word of Truth (Ephesians 1:13), we were begotten with The Word of Truth (James 1:18), and we stand in The Word of Truth that Saved us (1 Corinthians 15:1, 2).
God's desire is to bring His Church back to its first love and first works by The Holy Spirit as He Moves us back to faith in the cross of Christ. The Spirit of Truth will bring us back to that place of remembrance. He will bring us back to the place we need to be as we lay aside everything we have placed our faith in outside of Christ and Christ crucified. The Word of God says Christ is the propitiation only to those who have their faith IN THE BLOOD.
The Church cannot and will not come to Revival without The Message of the Cross. Revival will not come just because we preach on revival. Our Father honours one thing and One thing only - Christ and His Finished Work at Calvary. Religion is powerful, but feeble in its attempt. It forcefully attempts to find glory in anything other than The Finished Work of Christ.
As we, the ministers of reconciliation remember what reconciled us (The Blood), and begin to minister The Message of reconciliation (The Saving Power of The Blood) we will experience God's refreshing presence, revival, and unity in the Church which will bring an increase of souls to God's Kingdom rather than dead souls being numbered in a pew. All we have added or taken away from This Message in the past has brought much heartache and defeat in the Church. Since the preaching of the cross has been neglected in the Church today, we presently have powerless, dead churches with nothing more to offer than social groups or hype.
The preaching of the Cross IS The Power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18). We are Saved, kept, live and work IN Him by The Power of God through faith (Romans 1:6; 1 Peter 1:5; 2 Corinthians 13:4; 2 Thessalonians 1:11)
One of the main points of The New Testament (which is The New Covenant of God in, and sealed by, The Blood of Christ) is for us to guard against anything that would distract us from the uncorrupted Message of Life and Truth - Christ and Christ crucified. Christ told us that many false prophets would arise with many signs and wonders deceiving many. The Apostle Peter said there would be many false teachers who would bring in damnable heresies denying The Lord that bought them (with His Blood) speaking evil of The Way of Truth desiring to make merchandise of the people. Isaiah says the deceived feed on the ashes of their doings unable to deliver their soul and unable to recognise a lie.
Only The Power of God, the preaching of the cross, can deliver from such great deceptive power from the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4).
The Apostle Paul warned us not to deceive ourselves. He also warned that there would be grievous wolves who would enter in to draw disciples to themselves not sparing the flock.
Many today think they are too spiritual for This Message of Truth thinking it was only a door into The Kingdom. Without a doubt He is The Only Door of Salvation, but He also said, He is our Way, our Truth, and our Life.
The Apostle Paul says in Romans 1:5 that we have received grace for obedience to The Faith.
The faith is The Faith of The Son of God Who Loved us and Gave Himself (cross) for us (Galations 2:20).
The only True Message is Christ and Christ crucified. Faith in any other object prohibits The Holy Spirit from working in a believer's life. This is the reason there is no unity between the local churches. We as ministers have brought so much to the pulpit that looked good, like Cain's offering, but it has done nothing more than paralyse the body of Christ, keeping us in the bondages we have always been in.
We must unleash The Holy Spirit by preaching Christ and Him Crucified, which God has chosen in His Wisdom, to Save ALL that would believe The Promise and Grace of God. All else God rejects, no matter what we think.
Let us hear the call of God today and not be the Pharisees' of our day, or the wandering Cain's due to the refusal to place our faith in the Only thing God honours. Many are coming to hear The True, untainted Gospel of our Lord. Be sure to listen to see if the Church you are attending is preaching the cross of Christ, or just merely mentioning it occasionally. Take a stand.
